Convoluted cutting works similar like skiving cutting which can cut one sheet into two half pieces. But sheet after convoluted cutting can be made with a ridged design that has peaks and valleys. During the operation of convoluted cutting, a long roller presses one flat foam sheets while a blade slices it. With those features, convoluted foam can be popularly used in various industries and applications such as foam packaging liner, furniture mattress, acoustic application, custom die cut foam shapes and so on.
